“I grew up in Yorkshire playing a whole host of instruments but mainly focusing on classical and jazz piano! Upon going to university in Manchester, I discovered electronic music and developed a love for trance music, melding my love for classical harmony and melody with electronic euphoria.

I started DJing in lockdown and collecting records shortly after to grow my trance collection with a focus on records not available digitally to make my sets unique. I now DJ regularly up and down the country and also produce music – I am starting a label to self release my debut EP: Kitsta – Get Ready was be released out on Megababes on the 4th August! I’m also super passionate about creating space and opportunities for DJs from underrepresented groups having cofounded The Beatriarchy which is a collective centred around this. Alongside some other amazing creatives, I host Open Decks, Panels, Workshops and curate Stage Takeovers amplifying underrepresented DJs .”
